Resolved

That the Deputy Leader (Finance and Property):

(1) Grants approval to the submission of a bid of six hundred thousand pounds (plus applicable taxes) as part of an offer to purchase the land as shown edged red on the plan at the Appendix.

(2) Should the bid be successful, agrees that:

(a) the land as shown edged red on the plan at the Appendix be purchased from Stratford College on terms acceptable to the Strategic Director for Resources; and

(b) funding for the purchase (including any increase in Stamp Duty if VAT is payable) be made available from Education Basic Need Grant and that the purchase be added to the Capital Programme.
