Councillor John Horner nominated Councillor Bill Gifford to the Chair. This was seconded by Councillor John Holland.

A vote was held amongst members of the Sub-Committee.

Resolved:

That Councillor Bill Gifford be elected as Chair of the Dispensations Sub-Committee for this meeting.

Apologies were received from Councillor Sarah Feeney; Councillor John Holland was present as a substitute.

The report and appendices are attached.

The Chair summarised the recommendation, that the Police and Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire be granted the dispensations set out in the appendix to the report to enable him to fulfil his role in relation to emergency services collaboration under the Policing and Crime Act 2017.

Councillor John Horner moved the recommendation. Councillor John Holland seconded the recommendation.

A vote was held. The recommendation was unanimously supported.

Resolved:

That the dispensations set out in the appendix to the report be granted to the Police and Crime Commissioner when attending the Council as a co-opted member for the purposes of Section 7 Policing and Crime Act 2017.
