Resolved that the Deputy Leader for Finance and Property approves the addition of the following highway improvement scheme to the Capital Programme for 2024/25:

 

D1352 Houlton Way/Hillmorton Lane Junction – works to facilitate proposed Order titled WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (LINK ROAD NORTH, RUGBY) (PROHIBITION OF RIGHT AND LEFT TURNS) (VARIATION NO.2) ORDER 2024 with an estimated value of £85,000.00 funded from S106 contributions secured for the Rugby Gyratory scheme.

Resolved that the Portfolio Holder for Education agrees to the undertaking of a statutory process, including a consultation, as part of the establishment of Specialist Resourced Provision to cater for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) at Glendale Infant School (Nuneaton) and Nursery Hill Primary School (Nuneaton).

Resolved that the Portfolio Holder for Transport & Planning approves the changes to fees and charges for County Highways from 1 April 2025 as outlined in the report.

Resolved that the Portfolio Holder for Transport and Planning:

 

approves the increase of on-street charges, following the agreed Countywide annual review of the on-street Pay and Display charges and taking into account the District and Borough off-street pricing structures;

 

approves the increase to be applied to Leamington, Warwick, Kenilworth and Stratford Upon Avon from the 1st April 2025. This will be subject to completion of the required statutory process;

 

supports the continuance of the existing on-street charges in Rugby to reflect the lower rates applied to the off-street car parks.
