1) Approves the continuation of the Council’s Vison with refinement of our existing priority outcomes and addition of a third outcome related to Climate Change (paragraph 3.4)
2) Approves the approach to the development of the Council Plan 2022-26 and the design principles set out in paragraph 3.7 and authorises the Chief Executive to progress development of the Council Plan on this basis

West Midlands Rail is required to negotiate a
renewed collaboration agreement with the Department for
Transport.
The purpose of the Agreement is to ensure meaningful local
democratic influence over the operation and development of the rail
network in that area and in particular to enable the Parties to
collaborate on the running of rail services in that area for the
benefit of passengers and the regional economy.
