Local democracy relies upon hearing the voices and ideas of local residents and our views.
But unlike many Councils up and down the country, Warwickshire County Council doesn't allow residents to come along to Council to have ask questions or raise issues that matter to the public unless it's an item on the agenda already decided by politicians.
This is bad for residents who have important issues to raise, bad for democracy and politicians who need to listen or be accountable, and bad for Warwickshire because we are falling behind others who have for many years allowed residents to raise any issue or ask questions that they care about, in public question times.
